CASPR Conference

CASPR — Critical Approaches to Scholarship in Pain Research — was founded in 2023, by Fiona Webster along with Laura Connoy, as an international community of practice. CASPR began through a process of individual letter writing and quickly grew to over 60 members across Canada, the United States, Europe and beyond.

CASPR is hosting a one-day conference showcasing the work of its members at the CPS Annual General meeting in Toronto. CASPR members will share their work on issues related to equity, social justice, and structural determinants of health. All disciplines are welcome!

The conference will take place May 2, 2025 at Emmanuel College room 119, University of Toronto. A preliminary agenda will be shared shortly. We hope to see you there! Feel free to contact PEPR with any questions related to CASPR.
